The L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil has become somewhat of an online sensation as of late, winning over users with its delicate almond and vanilla scent and silky formula. The indulgent shower oil is 'trending' on LookFantastic's website, where the 250ml is priced at £22, however we've spied that it's currently reduced to £17.60 at Sephora.

Shoppers have called the award-winning product "addictive" and a "bathroom must have", despite sitting at a slightly more premium price tag. Comparably, Amazon has reduced the Naturium The Glow Getter multi-oil hydrating body wash to £16, as well as the NIVEA natural shower oil with natural oils 200ml, now down to £6.70.

Describing the L'Occitane almond shower oil, the product description reads: "Indulge in a daily bathing experience like no other with the almond shower oil, transforming your shower into a nourishing oasis for irresistibly soft, silky-smooth skin. Enriched with sweet almond oil, this body cleanser respects the delicate skin balance to preserve its softness and comfort, leaving it feeling nourished and supple."

It continues: "In contact with water, this golden oil transforms into a delicate milky veil that gently cleanses the skin. Easy to rinse, it leaves a mouth-watering scent of warm almonds and delicious vanilla that fills the air and envelops your skin for a surprisingly cosy yet uplifting aromatic experience."

One Sephora shopper said: "Just off of the first use my skin is noticeably softer and smoother. After using a few times the results are just as amazing. Would recommend."

Praise continues over at LookFantastic where Chantelle said: "Stunning! I actually got a tester bottle in my monthly LookFantastic box and got obsessed. It is pricey but a good treat from time to time. It just smells amazing and leaves my skin so soft and with someone with very sensitive skin due to dermatitis doesn’t cause any flare ups."

Although, not everyone is as enamoured by the product, one shopper Laura said: "It’s okay - nothing particularly special about it!" Another shopper added: "This is ok, it does feel soft/moisturising on the skin when using in the shower however, once rinsed off it doesn’t leave your skin feeling moisturised. The smell is nice but not as almond-y as hoped."
