Egypt

If you are a diver then Egypt will act as a magnet and a visit is in no doubt. The Red Sea is the closest coral sea to Europe and although popular, offers top class diving year round. Often referred to as the cradle of civilisation the country has wonders both above and below the sea.

With 13,700 islands and the fifth most populous island in the world we can not claim to cover it all!!! What we do know is that it is an underwater photographers dream. If you like to see the unusual and have a good eye for spotting the small things this is the place for you.

Kenya

A naturalist's and photographer's dream. Kenya is one of the few places in the world to view some of the great animals, lion, elephant, rhino, cheetah, leopard, and whale shark. If all this excitement gets too much there is always the beach to recharge the batteries before donning the backpack and climbing Mt Kenya, the second highest peak in Africa.

It would be difficult to overstate the attraction of Malaysia for anyone who appreciates the natural world. Its primal forests, ranging from shoreline mangrove to mountaintop oak, are of the sort that most of the world now knows only in myth. What is under the water is not bad either and feedback of 'Our best holiday ever' is not uncommon.

Malta & Gozo

Malta & Gozo offer arguably the best diving in the Mediterranean Sea and being only 3 hours away are ideal for weekends or short breaks. These limestone islands offer many caves and swim throughs and Malta has a plethora of wrecks, many from WW2. With most diving shore based it is an ideal destination for the family or couple with a non diver.

Mexico & the Yucatan Peninsula (inc Belize)

Off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula is the Great Mayan Reef. Considered the second longest barrier reef in the world it stretches close to 1000km from Mexico down to Honduras. Part of this reef is the island of Cozumel and Chinchorro Banks. Wall diving, drift diving and some of the most pristine sites we have seen are on offer.

A relative newcomer to the diving scene but it is gradually eeking out quite an impressive reputation for itself, especially amongst underwater photographers. The Philippines offers very good value for money for those wishing a change from the norm.

Portugal, the Algarve - Ocean Revival

Did you know the worlds largest artificial reef Ocean Revival is on your doorstep? It will be complete on the 21st September when the 64 mtr Hydrographic ship Almeida de Carvalho is sunk. It joins 3 other ex Portuguese Navy ships and is the culmination of a major 6 year project. The good news for us wreck lovers is that they are only 2 hours away from anywhere in the UK on the Portuguese Algarve.

The country holds many wonders with the 'Jewels in the Crown' being Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest point of Africa, the great plains of the Serengeti, home of the worlds largest migration of animals and the 'Spice Island' of Zanzibar with its powder white beaches.
